Chan hails PH-BN-GRS grand unity in Tanjung Aru campaign

Pakatan Harapan (PH), Barisan Nasional (BN) and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) have joined forces in grand unity to ensure victory in Tanjung Aru.

PH’s Tanjung Aru candidate, Datuk Chan Foong Hin hailed the display of grand unity by the three coalitions in his campaign.

He was grateful to Putatan Umno deputy chief Reduan Aklee and Tanjung Aru Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah chief Bahrul Razha Chuprat for going to the ground to campaign for him.

“I thank my friends in BN and GRS for going to the ground with me. Each one of us has our strengths and we complement one another.

“Let others squabble for power. In Tanjung Aru, we unite to focus on the people,” Chan said in a statement.

Chan is facing a nine cornered fight for the seat on 29 Nov.

Chan’s main focus is to unseat incumbent Junz Wong, a former DAP man.

Wong was Likas state assemblyman for DAP when he ditched his party for Warisan in 2016.

He then won the Tanjung Aru seat in 2020.
