No change in the Dewan Rakyat seating for UPKO MPs

There would not be any change in the seating of MPs in the Dewan Rakyat even though UPKO has quit being a component of Pakatan Harapan and its president Datuk Ewon Benedick quit the cabinet.

Ewon did the above as he had disagreed with the decision of the federal government that decided to appeal against the grounds of judgment in the case on 40% revenue for Sabah which is stated in the MA63 Agreement.

This was confirmed by UPKO information chief Peter J Naintin.

“The party would continuing supporting the Agong’s government,” he said.

UPKO has two MPs Ewon Benedick Datuk Wilfred Madius Tangau.

Ewon represents Penampang and Wilfred, Tuaran.
