Two questions for Mahiaddin as he claimed MIC applied to join PN

Bersatu president Tan Sri Mahiaddin Yassin needs to state whether the opposition bloc Perikatan Nasional still has the trust of the people and component parties since his announcement regarding MIC’s entry into the coalition proves that he was inaccurate and confused.

“What is PN’s real status before and after Sabah election?

“Does the present leadership still have the trust of the people and that of the component parties?”

“Mahiaddin’s statement begin to appear more odd in the context of PN’s diminished performance in the Sabah state polls and internal crisis,” said Bangi Bersatu Bersekutu division chief K Vasantha Kumar in a statement today.

Mahiaddin had claimed that MIC made an official application to join PN but MIC secretary general Datuk S Ananthan clarified that a letter was sent to seek clarification on the position, conditions and entry proses if MIC considers to be involved in PN.

“Mahiaddin’s claim that it is an official application contradicts with the facts and raises the question on his real intention to make such a claim,” Vasantha added.
