Thrash it out at PH presidential council to Anwar, AMANAH leader tells DAP
AMANAH communication director Khalid Samad told the DAP to thrash out issues to the president of Pakatan Harapan presidential council Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim instead of mulling over the possibility of pulling out of the coalition altogether.
“PH is still a very new vehicle. We have to identify and solve the problems. It is premature for the DAP to mull over the quit option.
“The DAP have to thrash it out to Anwar at the PH presidential council meeting,” said Khalid in reference to Anwar who is also the prime minister.
Khalid also admitted that the presidential council had not discussed about the results of the Sabah state elections.
“Sabah politics is not the same as Peninsular Malaysia. There, the Chinese had an option in Warisan. Here the non-Malays do not,” said Khalid who also sits in the council.
The presidential council last met in February. The next meet is expected to be held soon.
Singapore Straits Times recently reported that the DAP is mulling over the notion of pulling out of the Pakatan Harapan coalition due to growing dissatisfaction of the non-Malay voters towards Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s administration.

DAP’s national chairman Gobind Singh Deo who is also Digital Minister said he would raise the high handed manner the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission used in apprehending controversial businessman, Albert Tei at the cabinet.
The party’s legal bureau chief Ramkarpal Singh who is also Bukit Gelugor MP took Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail to task for passing judgment on a health club raid located in Chow Kit and for suggesting to amend laws related to remand period.
