DAP to meet PM Anwar over UEC

DAP would be meeting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim in its bid to recognise the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) , confirmed DAP national deputy chairman Nga Kor Ming.

Sin Chew Daily quoted him as saying the above during a charity dinner held at SM Hua Lian, Taiping.

The party is proactively pursuing the issue following its humbling defeat in Sabah state polls where it lost all of its seats.

Pakatan Harapan had previously included UEC recognition as part of its manifesto in 2018.

The DAP also included UEC recognition in the election manifesto in 2022.
