Sabah DAP isn’t asking for GLC positions

Sabah DAP has denied claims that it asked for GLC positions for its leaders to Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.

“During a meeting last Sunday, Sabah DAP once again reaffirmed that it does not want to join the state government.

“As I have stated before, Sabah DAP will return to the people, serving them step by step to restore public trust,” said Sabah DAP chairman Phoong Jin Zhe.

A letter has gone viral on social media, purportedly sent to Hajiji from Phoong’s office, suggesting the appointment of chairmen, deputy chairmen, or board members for GLCs.

Phoong added that the alleged letter did not have his signature or official stamp.
