Suspect in TikTok user assault case called up for questioning
A female suspect who is believed to be involved in the assault of a disabled woman after an altercation on TikTok was called in to give her statement.
Serdang OCPD Assistant Commissioner Farid Ahmad confirmed that the case was being investigated under section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt.
“Investigations found that the victim was approached by seven individuals, including the suspect, who is believed to be known to the victim through TikTok.
“The suspect allegedly punched the victim on the left side of her face about five times, causing swelling to her left cheek and a minor injury to the inside of her left lip,” he said in a statement, yesterday.
