To remain or depart BN – MIC will decide in February

MIC would decide its destiny – to remain in or to depart from BN in February, post – Thaipusam.

Thaipusam falls on Feb 1.

“We will decide after Thaipusam, maybe early or mid – February. The Umno general assembly is in January… let’s settle that first,” said MIC’s deputy president Datuk Seri M Saravanan, Berita Harian reported.

The Tapah MP said that during a function at the Tapah MIC building yesterday.

He reiterated the decision would be determined by the party’s central working committee.

“So far it is all peaceful. So lets retain the harmony. For now MIC is still with BN,” he added.
