Name the nurse who fed her Indian patient as Malaysia’s unity icon

Jelutong MP RSN Rayer has called for a Malay nurse who fed her Indian patient to be named as Malaysia’s unity icon.

On that note he also questioned the lack of action by the authorities against four individuals identified as Zamri Vinoth Kalimuthu, Firdaus Wong Fei Hung, Ridhuan Tee Chuan Seng and Cikgu Chandra.

“From my observation one who deserves to be named as Malaysia’s unity icon is a nurse from Seberang Jaya Hospital.

“The nurse Nurdina Nazifa was seen recently feeding an Indian patient with her own hand. I believe she is qualified to be unity icon. I hope the government considers this.

“Nurses would sacrifice and contribute but she had used her own hand to feed an Indian patient who is seriously ill is something that should be praised.

“Compare that to individuals such as Cikgu Chandra who triggers racial polemic.

“Comparing Nurdina to Cikgu Chandra, Firdaus Wong, Ridhuan Tee and Zamri Vinoth, can Nurdina be appointed to be a unity icon?

“Secondly, why until now there has been no action taken against Zamri Vinoth, Cikgu Chandra, Ridhuan Tee, Firdaus Wong who are organisers of Anti Illegal Houses of Worship rally on February 7 in front of Sogo?

The DAP federal lawmaker raised the issue during the wrapping up speech of National Unity Minister Aaron Ago Dagang at the Dewan Rakyat today.

Zamri Vinoth, Firdaus Wong and Ridhuan Tee are Muslim convert preachers who have frequently made insensitive statements against Malaysian minorities.

Cikgu Chandra is a controversial TikTok personality who frequently riles up the Indian community.
