“Keep it up MADANI”, Malaysian man praises government after paying only RM7.15 for groceries

Early February this year, government announced a RM100 one-off Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) aid to all Malaysian 18 and above.

Influencer known as Ustaz Tido, took to Facebook to express his appreciation, praising the government for “working for the people.”

In his post, he shared that it was his first time using his MyKad to buy groceries.

He described the experience as feeling “so light” after paying just RM7.15 for a trolley filled with various items.

“Thank you Kerajaan MADANI. Alhamdulillah. For the first time I used my IC to buy kitchen essentials. Felt very light. Only paid RM7.15 for full trolley.

“It is not impossible that in the coming years, it won’t just be RM100 a month. Maybe even RM500 a month the government could give. When the country is managed by a great team.. Keep it up Kerajaan Madani, working for the people!

“It doesn’t feel like my taxes are wasted,” he said.

Inspired by the government’s efforts, the man plans to give back to the community by offering RM50 each to 20 lucky Malaysians.
