Does Pas have any gray matter?
By: Kesavan Gnanalingam
Pas the biggest party in the opposition bloc seems to be welcoming the exit BN resolution passed by MIC chapters at the state level.
This is especially so with the Pas Supporters Congress, the non-Muslim associate wing in the Islamist party.
Which led me to wonder, does Pas have any gray matter that they use before spurting out their verbal diarrhea?
The resolution have not been passed by the central working committee.
That means, exiting BN is a possibility. No where in the resolution was it stated that MIC is hopping from one coalition to another.
Pas is part of Perikatan Nasional whose members also include the Malaysian Indian People’s Party (MIPP)
MIC is the Indian party of BN.
That means both MIC and MIPP would be eyeing the six percent population as their key vote bloc.
Definitely this would not work.
Clearly Pas did not learn from the lessons in the past when it was together with Umno.
Both continued wooing the same Malay bloc vote.
There is no ifs or buts, having two parties with the same voter base only spells disaster.
And the above is just at the party level.
