Justify your support for PMX, DAP takes MIC for its support
DAP CEC member M Thulsi questioned MIC’s plan to quit BN while throwing its support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
“The delegates have signaled their intent to leave. This now presents a critical question for MIC: on what basis do they justify continuing their support for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim through the remainder of his term?
“This move shows blatant hypocrisy.
“This flip-flop reeks of self-serving opportunism, not real principles,” she said in a statement.
Thulsi who is also Perak DAP assistant publicity secretary and Buntong state assemblywoman also reminded that there are reports that the Indian party are in talks to join the federal opposition coalition, Perikatan Nasional.
“DAP supports true backers of MADANI agenda for inclusivity and reform. But MIC’s games risk splitting voters and weakening coalitions.
“They should stop this nonsense and focus on national good, not personal gains.”
MIC’s central working committee would be making the final decision on whether it would lead the way out of BN during its CWC meeting next month.
