MyPPP hits the campaign trail for DAP’s Pang
BN friendly party – People’s Progressive Party (MyPPP) would be campaigning for DAP’s Pang Sock Tao in the Kuala Kubu Baharu.
The party’s Selangor chief M Surenthiran confirmed that it is mobilising its machinery in the mixed semi-urban seat.
“We have updated our database. There are 539 KKB voters, who are MyPPP members.
“We will ensure they will go to vote for the Harapan candidate (Pang Sock Tao) on May 11,” Surenthiran said.
MyPPP is led by ex-Federal Territory deputy minister J Loga Bala Mohan.
Pang is facing off Bersatu’s Khairul Azhari Saut, PRM’s Hafizah Zainuddin and Independent candidate Nyau Ke Xin on May 11.
The by-election was triggered by the passing of Kuala Kubu Baharu’s three-term incumbent Lee Kee Hiong on 21 March. Lee succumbed to cancer.
There are 40,226 voters. Of this, 21,480 are Malays, 12,268 Chinese, 6,362 Indians and 116 others.
