Volunteer teachers from Singapore among issues raised during MQT

The issue of roping in Singaporean volunteer teachers to teach English is raised by Kalam Salan (PN-Sabak Bernam) to the Education Minister. He also questions the efforts to fortify teaching and learning as well as training for local English language teachers.

This is raised during the Minister’s Question Time.

Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal questions the Works Minister on the standard operating procedure to ensure the construction of the Sabah Pan Borneo Highway doesn’t become a reason for natural disasters.

Tan Kok Wai (PH-Cheras) questions the Prime MInisters on the status of the Freedom of Information Bill and when it would be tabled.

Are patients of chronic, weakening diseases considered disabled? This is the issue raised by Syahredzan Johan (PH-Bangi) to the Women Family and Community Development Minister.

Minister in Prime Minister’s Department proposes that Wong Shu Qi (PH-Kluang) is replaced by Teresa Kok Suh Sim (PH-Seputeh) as the Public Accounts Committee’s vice chair person.

The motion was proposed because Wong was appointed as TalentCorp chairperson last month.
