BN vs PN in Nenggiri by-election

It is a straight fight for Nenggiri, pitting BN’s Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani,38 against PN’s Mohd Rizwadi Ismail, 41.

Azmawi Fikri is Kelantan Umno Youth chief whereas Rizwadi of Pas was until recently a Pas Youth leader.

Nenggiri polls returning officer Nik Raisnan Daud confirmed that both candidates submitted their nomination forms.

Nomination took place at Kompleks Perdana, Gua Musang.

The by-election is scheduled for Aug 17 and both candidates have a fortnight to campaign.

Despite an announcement yesterday, from little known Parti Sedar Rakyat that it would join the race, the party did not field a candidate.
