Sedar raised white flag after realising it will lose in Nenggiri

Realisation dawned upon Parti Sedar Rakyat that led them to raise the white flag which led to a no show at the nomination centre in Dewan Perdana, Kompleks Perdana Gua Musang this morning for the nomination in the Nenggiri by-election.

Party chief Othman Abdillah said they withdrew as they realised they chances to win was slim to none and the party machineries of both Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional were solid.

“We decided to withdraw after witnessing the strength of BN and PN supporters. We realised that even if we contested, our chances to win was slim, he said, FMT reported.

The Nenggiri by-election witnesses a straight fight involving Kelantan Umno Youth chief Mohd Azmawi FIkri Abdul Ghani and Pas’ Mohd Rizwadi Ismail.

The polls is set to take place on August 17.
