Anwar slams Dr Ronald for politicising funding issue

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stated that if Sabah requires additional funding, the federal government will maintain an open attitude towards discussions, reported China Press. 

He also criticized Sabah Perikatan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee for playing low-level politics regarding the funding issue.

Economic Minister Rafizi Ramli stated that Malaysia’s total debt is expected to decrease starting from 2027, as old debts are gradually repaid, headlined Sin Chew Daily. 

Civil servants will receive substantial salary increases of 15% to 42.7%, front-paged Nanyang Daily.
