Police report against Mythreyar, associates for insulting Hindus, non-Tamil Indians
A group of 35 NGOs and individuals lodged a report against several TikTok influencers at the Sentul police district headquarters as the latter had insulted Hindus and non-Tamil Indians.
The influencers are made up of Tamil Fighter@makkalinfighters that featured Tamil Devan @tamilasuran1, A Rajendran also known as Rajendranrajen, Mythreyar @mythreyar15 and Siva Seelan @karimavalan.
Clips of the live session saw Mythreyar insulting Indians in Tamil. He allegedly referred to the Indians as ‘useless dogs’ and homeless multiple times. He also claimed that those who claimed themselves as Indians were bastards and degraded the dignity of Indian mothers.
He also accused the Indian mothers of “having more than one sexual partners”, and that “the Indians were useless, no guts and were better off as prostitutes”.
He also degraded non-Tamil Indians in Malaysia. Non-Tamil Indians are made up of Malayalees, Telugus, Gujarati, Marathis, and several other ethnicities.
The above was in the first video clip that went viral. It was a 6 minute 15 second video clip.
There were two more video clips featuring the above individuals. The second edited live TikTok video featured Rajendran insulting the Hindus. He equated the Hindus to pigs who needs to be given a slap.
He also made a threat towards Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming that the leader would die soon in New Delhi and that India would be destroyed. He went on to accuse Malaysian Indians as individuals without an ounce self-respect.
In the video which was about six minutes 30 seconds, Mythreyar claimed that Indians are “useless, without dignity, behaved badly and claimed that non Tamil Indians are useless.
He also said that those who called themselves Indians should claim Hindi as their mother tongue.
The police called upon the police to probe Mythreyar and the other influencers to be probed under 3R laws since it was seditious, provocation and incited Tamils to hate others.
For the record Mythreyar is the same individual who protested against BlackRock and held a week long hunger strike in solidarity with the Palestinians.’
The police report called for the probe to be done under sections 298, 504 and 505 of the Penal Code and section 233 of the Mutimedia and Communication Act 1998.
“Mythreyar’s statements threatens India and Modi who has good ties with Malaysia. Our Prime Minister was in India on 19 August to deepen the bilateral ties but these people are making threats,” it is stated in the report.
Section 298 criminalises the act of making sensitive statements against a group of people that belong to a faith, 505 is related to statements that leads towards public mischief and 504 provides for a jail term of two years and fine.
The group of people who lodged the police reports today also said that the influencers were pushing the notion of Tamil Desam – a nation of Tamils.
This was previously used by the LTTE as they fought the Sri Lanka Army for an independent region in the island nation in the Indian Ocean.
This same notion are also being used by certain political groups in the southern state of Tamil Nadu in India.
