Trump gets an early edge over Harris in the race US president polls

Would it be Kamala Harris of the Democrats or Republican Donald Trump as the next President of the United States of America.

The candidate that wins 270 electoral votes or more becomes the President. A total of 538 electoral votes are allocated within 50 states and Washington DC.

Early results indicate Trump having an edge over Harris.

BBC reports indicated that Trump gaining 19 electoral votes compared to Harris who gained three.

Indiana and Kentucky went in favour of Trump whereas Vermont a Democrat stronghold contributed three votes to Harris.

West Virginia’s four electoral votes went to Reds. Trump now has 23 electoral votes while Harris has not increased her numbers.

As of 9.50am, Trump won 101 EVs leaving Harris behind at 71, reported AP.
