Anwar wows international business community in Singapore

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim received a convincing standing ovation from the international business community – investors, corporate personalities, industry captains – at a special session, titled ‘A Conversation with Prime Minister of Malaysia.

This session was held at Milken Institute Asia Summit 2023 in Singapore earlier today.

He also took on various questions on various issues ranging from the DNAA judgement on his deputy Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to the recently concluded state polls involving six states.

The mutual warmth between the premier and the various industry could be easily felt as Anwar could be seen smiling and laughing.

The event had a light and easy vibe.

This however does not mean that Anwar did not put forth what he wanted for Malaysia.

He clearly told the investors and industry players that Malaysia wants the development of indigenous technology and artificial intelligence among others.

Anwar also spent time talking to most of the attendees personally.

Anwar was accompanied by two ministers – Foreign Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Zambry Abdul Kadir and Investment, Trade and Industries Minister Tengku Zafrul Aziz.

In short, he gave the international audience a wow factor to look at Malaysia.
