Whose proxy is Pang? Teo trains her guns at Afif

DAP national publicity secretary Teo Nie Ching trained her guns at Taman Medan assemblyman Dr Afif Bahardin for alleging that the DAP candidate Pang Sock Tao is a proxy of Housing and Local Government Minister, Nga Kor Ming.

Pang is also known as Xiao Tao.

“Just because Xiao Tao worked as an officer to Nga at the ministry, Afif claims her to be a proxy,” Teo said via TikTok.

“Doesn’t Afif know that Xiao Tao was an officer to Yeo Bee Yin when Yeo was Minister of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment & Climate Change?

“Do you know that I am the one who convinced Xiao Tao to work at the DAP headquarters? Xiao Tao also was a host for an online programme called Jawab Jujur Anthony. It was a programme created specially for DAP secretary general, Anthony Loke.

“So whose proxy is she? Nga, Yeo, me or Anthony?

“Xiao Tao is proxy to no one. Please respect Xiao Tao as an independent woman and I believe that she doesn’t need to be a proxy to anyone to be a candidate.

Were you a local candidate in Penang, Afif?

Afif of Bersatu in a ceramah session recently claimed that the by-election in Kuala Kubu Baharu pits Perikatan Nasional candidate against Nga’s proxy. He also blamed Pang for not being a local candidate.

To the issue of Pang not being a local candidate in Kuala Kubu Baharu, Teo highlighted the fact that Afif himself was not a local candidate when the latter was part of the Penang government as a state exco.

Afif was a two term state assemblyman in Seberang Jaya representing PKR before he moved to Bersatu along with former deputy president Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.

The Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election on May 11 is a four cornered tussle involving Pang, Khairul Azhari Saut of Bersatu, PRM’s Hafizah Zainudin and Nyau Ke Xin.

The polls is held following the demise of its three term incumbent Lee Kee Hiong on March 21.
