DAP cares about the Malaysian Indian community
Buntong assemblyman Thulsi Manogaran together with the DAP candidate for the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election Pang Sock Tao also known as Xiao Tao met with the Indian community in Kuala Kubu Bahru today.
“With Ms Pang Sock Tao meeting the Indian community in Kuala Kubu Bahru. I hope KKB voters will judge the quality of candidates based on local issues,” Thusi said via a Facebook post.
A four-way contest is scheduled for May 11 in Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election, featuring DAP’s Pang Sock Tao, Bersatu’s Khairul Azhari Saut, PRM’s Hafizah Zainuddin, and Independent candidate Nyau Ke Xin.
On May 3rd, speaking on the X platform, Thulsi urged the government to tackle poverty, and housing issues, and promote equal opportunities in employment and education for Indians.
“We don’t need bumiputera rights, we are only asking for a meaningful change that would ensure Indians are freed from poverty, housing issues, equal employment and education opportunities,” she said as reported by Harapan Daily.
