Malaysia Ranks 10th on Southeast Asia’s perception towards the United States graph
Today, Seasia Stats shared an illustrated graph on Instagram depicting Southeast Asian countries’ perception towards the United States.
Malaysia ranked tenth on the graph.
“59% Southeast Asians are worried about the growing influence of the US, while 41% are welcoming!” Seasia Stats said in an Instagram post.
The post cited the 2024 ASEAN Studies Centre survey.
“ The 2024 ASEAN Studies Centre survey revealed varying sentiments towards increasing American geopolitical influence across Southeast Asian countries,” it said.
“SEA profited and peaceful if the region can buffer zone and stay neutral. I think Malaysia and Indonesia understand it very well,” said an Instagram user named throatgate3.
“We don’t need American busybodies in Asia,” said an Instagram user named alfredt.x.
Earlier Seasia Stats shared an illustrated graph on Instagram depicting Southeast Asian countries’ perception towards China and Malaysia ranked fifth in the graph, reported Harapan Daily.
