"Pang Sock Tao inherits Lee Kee Hiong's spirit"

Pakatan Harapan’s Pang Sock Tao inherits Lee Kee Hiong’s spirit said Berapit state legislative assemblywoman Heng Lee Lee.

“I believe Sister Pang Sock Tao, candidate N06 who has inherited Lee Kee Hiong’s spirit, will make this place even better,” Heng said in Facebook.

“Kuala Kubu Baharu is a place with beautiful scenery, perfect for tourism.

“Here, you’ll feel like slowing down and experiencing the diversity of humanity.

“At the same time, every development here allows me to see the shadow and legacy of Sister Lee Kee Hiong,” Heng also said.

The Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election is scheduled to take place on May 11.

The Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election was being held following the passing of its incumbent Lee Kee Hiong.

Four candidates are contending for the seat – Pang Sock Tao representing DAP under Pakatan Harapan, Khairul Azhari Saut from Bersatu representing Perikatan Nasional, Hafızah Zainuddin of Parti Rakyat Malaysia (PRM), and Independent candidate Nyau Ke Xin.

In a related development, DAP is organizing a gathering in memory of Lee Kee Hiong on 9 May.
