Umno letterhead with statement to reduce focus on Malay agenda?

A statement with Umno letterhead and signed by its president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has been confirmed to be false, announced the party headquarters.

The viral statement claimed that the Malay party would adopt a more open approach and lessen its exclusive focus on the Malay agenda.

The false statement also claimed that the party would emulate Singapore without focusing on the interest of the Malays.
