Google is enhancing security features on Android phones

Google is enhancing the security features on phones that operate on Android operating system.

Through its latest update, it said the software that is being installed into the device would determine a case of snatch theft of the phone. It would then lock access.

This development was achieved when the software was able to determine sudden movements of the phone, similar to a snatch theft case.

This feature would be able to all Android 10 phone users onwards via a phone update via Google Play Services.
