Funds will go to the people, says Anthony Loke

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said that the funds generated from Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Ibrahim’s acquisition of the FFF1 licence plate will be allocated to various initiatives within the Ministry of Transport.

“I, representing the Ministry of Transport, deeply appreciate Your Majesty’s contributions and concern for the welfare of the people.

“These funds will be allocated to several initiatives under the Ministry of Transport, such as flight fare assistance for students (FlySiswa) between Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah, Sarawak, the Mylesen program for the B40 group, and the exchanging new helmets for motorcycle riders,” Loke said via a Facebook post.

In conjunction with its 78th anniversary, the Road Transport Department (RTD) has introduced the “FFF” series license plates.

It is reported that His Majesty won the ‘FFF1’ license plate with a bid of RM1.75 million.

In a recent Facebook post, His Majesty expressed hope that the proceeds would be used to help the people.
