Gua Musang Umno shortlists three for Nenggiri by-election

Gua Musang Umno division have shortlisted three candidates to contest in the Nenggiri by-election that is scheduled to be held on August 17.

The three are Kelantan Umno Youth chief Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani who is also Gua Musang Umno Youth chief, Gua Musang Umno information chief Amran Arifin and the division’s Wanita chief Nor Fadzlete Aryani Mat Rosli.

The three were shortlisted by the division last night and would be forwarded to the Kelantan Umno liaison meet scheduled later tonight.

Kelantan Umno information chief Datuk Zawawi Othman confirmed the meeting would be held tonight, Berita Harian reported.

“We do not have an issue with the candidates as long as Gua Musang Umno agrees.

“Tonight’s meeting would also be discussing campaign strategy for the by-election.

The Election Commission has fixed the by-election to be held on August 17 and nomination would be on August 3.
