Are laws regarding mule accounts and financial frauds necessary?
RSN Rayer (PH-Jelutong) questions the Prime Minister regarding the need to table a law on mule account related offences. He also questions how such laws can contain the rise of online financial frauds during Minister’s Question Time (MQT).
V Ganabatirau (PH-Klang) asked for the statistics of domestic violence that was recorded from 2021 to 2023 with racial breakdown and economic background in Klang. He also asked for the number of victims who have been placed in safe homes.
The oral question time would see Yeo Bee Yin (PH-Puchong) requesting Health Minister the number of new cancer cases since 2020 until 2023. She also asked about the ministry’s intervention to increase preliminary checks on breast, colon, cervix and ovary cancers among women and lung, colon, prostrate, naso-pharynx and liver cancer among men.
Datuk Seri Hasni Mohammad (BN-Simpang Renggam) questions Agriculture and Food Security Minister regarding preparatory steps to be taken given the current unpredictable climate.
The Dewan Rakyat would complete the debate on the amendments for Drug Addicts (Treatment & Rehabilitation) Bill.
Three Islamic related laws would be tabled today for second reading. They are Mufti (Federal Territories) Bill 2024 and amendments to Islamic Administrative Laws Bill 2024 and Shariah Courts Code Bill.
The National Audit Report would be tabled for debate as well as amendments to Federal Constitution.
