Muhyiddin has 105 SDs, BN MPs signed three documents

BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi disputed claims that Perikatan Nasional chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin had the support of 115 MPs based on the number of statutory declarations (SDs).

“The Umno secretary general is the witness. The 115 that he claim includes 10 SDs by MPs who signed two SDs,” he said on the sidelines of the Umno General Assembly.

“They signed with BN and them. That is why the total actually is 105.105 isn’t enough (to form) government.

Zahid who is also Umno president pointed out that BN parliamentary candidates signed three documents.

“Every BN parliamentary candidate signs three documents. One to give full power to the BN chairman to form the government, or a mixed government or any action that leads towards forming a government.

“They signed a document stating that the seats they won belong to the party not an individual.

“The third document, if they leave or support others, they must a penalty of RM100,000,000.

“Three documents are signed and it is recorded on video in front of an oath commissioner and three lawyers.

“How can one deny this? Actually, he doesn’t have the numbers.

Muhyiddin had submitted 115 SDs as evidence in the probe against him for allegedly depicting the 16th Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah negatively as the king had appointed Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the tenth prime minister.
