Police told to act against International Youth Rationalism Forum

Penang Hindu Endowment Board (PHEB) chairman RSN Rayer call upon the police to act against the International Youth Rationalism Forum 2024 that will be held tomorrow.

“I still ask the police to intervene as the event will cause disharmony among the people, especially to Hindus. Call off the permit at the 11th hour.

“We have seen in the past, speakers will target and ridicule Hindus.

“As we have a large Hindu population, I urge the Home Minister (Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail) to consider the sensitivities of Hindus, who would be the targets of Dravidians who ridicule tenets of Hinduism.”

He said this in response to Kuala Lumpur Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall’s confirmation that the controversial forum will go on as scheduled.

Rayer is also Jelutong MP also confirmed that Saifuddin have been informed on the matter.
