NGO leader in cyberbully squad: Victim have been enduring cyberbullying over a year

Cyberbully victim Swashna Subramaniam revealed that an NGO leader Joseph Prakash Sukumaran is cyberbullying in support cyberbullies who were also involved in the cyberbullying of the late A Rajeswari, better known as Esha.

This is based on the fact that several cyberbullies who were involved in the cyberbullying of Esha who died last year have also collaborated to cyberbully Swashna.

Joseph Prakash is the founder of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Integriti Persahabatan Nasional.

Some of the cyberbullies named during a press conference today includes TikTok handles that goes by the names Tamil Desiyam, Suren Amale Ganja and Tamil Fighter.

“For more than a year since Esha’s death, I have suffered relentless cyberbullying, harassment, and defamation.

“I had only genuinely turned up as a main witness at the request of the police to assist in the investigation by corroborating evidence and providing a statement.

“Despite fulfilling my duty as a citizen and cooperating fully with the authorities, I have been subjected to false allegations, intimidation, and malicious attempts to implicate me in matters completely unrelated to me.

“Despite so many MCMC reports, I continue to face cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and cyber harassment on TikTok and in illegal “courtroom” live sessions that mimic legal proceedings without any authority. These online attacks have escalated into serious violations of my privacy and personal security.

“Investigations and verified proof have shown that certain individuals currently pursuing an agenda against me have direct connections to the cyberbullying of Esha, as well as links to Joseph Prakash.

“It must be stressed that Prakash is not an authority for me to submit any evidence pertaining to Esha’s case. If he had doubts or questions, he should have proceeded through the proper legal channels instead of constantly harassing me on live sessions and videos — both directly and indirectly — in a manner that amounts to criminal intimidation.

“Furthermore, Prakash had no permission, consent, or legal right to discuss, publish, intercept, or record my private conversations. Despite this, he has released sensitive information into the public domain in violation of my right to privacy and personal data protection.”

Esha Clause not used to date

Swashna believes that Prakash is cyberbullying her due to the case that she filed against Shalini and Dulal Brothers. The case is case is currently with the Attorney General Chambers.

For the record, Swashna was cyberbullied together with Esha last year. She was however in India when Rajeswary Appahu, better known as Esha passed away.

Esha’s eldest brother, Krishnan Appahu meanwhile questioned Prakash’s motive in cyberbullying as the latter has claimed that Esha’s death is due to murder and there is cover up by Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil and the Royal Malaysian Police.

“Doesn’t the police check on this NGO? He is going around collecting money by using my late sister’s name.”

Attorney Rajesh Nagarajan who was also present at the press conference meanwhile pointed out that the authorities have not used section 507A of the Penal Code which is also known Esha Clause to protect cyberbullying victim.

“There are so many police reports but no one charged. All of this are recorded with evidence. Why are the police not charging.

“There are so many victims out there being bullied. It is imperative that the police investigate on urgent basis. As long as no charge it will snowball.”

Global Human Rights Federation president S Shashi Kumar who had called for the press conference meanwhile urged the police to investigate Prakash for cyberbullying Swashna and defaming GHRF.

Swashna also confirmed that she would be pursuing a defamation suit against Prakash.
