“Dulal Brothers” taken into police custody

The lead suspect who is known as @dulal_brothers_360 TikTok have been detained by the police. The suspect is referred to as “Dulal Brothers”.

Dulal Brothers in his 40s, turned himself to the police yesterday evening and was taken into the custody by Sentul police.

Sentul police chief Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari confirmed the arrest, saying, “Yes, he has been detained and will be produced in court in the morning for a remand application.”

“Dulal Brothers” and Shalini Periasamy who is better known as @alphaquinnsha on TikTok were the primary suspects named in the case of cyberbully victim A Rajeswary, also known as Esha.

Both Dulal Brothers and Shalini had conducted live sessions on TikTok where the duo shamed, defamed, threatened to rape and even threatened to murder Esha.

Shalini was remanded three days ago. Her remand was extended by another two days today.

Both suspects were named as main culprits in the cyber bully case that led to Esha’s death.

She died on July 5 and her funeral was held on July 7.

Meanwhile in a related development, Dullal Brothers was remanded for four days.
