Police record statement of suspects based on report by Esha’s mother

Businessman Sophian Mohd Zain has had his statement recorded in connection with a police report lodged by the mother of TikTok influencer and Hindu activist, A Rajeswary, better known as Esha.

Sentul OCPD Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari confirmed that the statement was recorded recently.

“We will be calling up another man and a suspended policewoman this week to record their statements,” he said, without naming names, reported The Star.

This is based on the police report lodged by Esha’s mother R Puspa against suspended policewoman Inspector Sheila Sharon, Indian Muslim convert preacher Zamri Vinoth and Mohd Sophian Mohd Zain on July 12.

In that report, Puspa stated that the three had confused the public by badmouthing and discussing her daughter’s case on live TikTok sessions.
