Shalini under probe, out on police bail for cyberbullying

Shalini Periasamy, who had received a slap on the wrist for cyber bullying the late Rajeswari Appahu, was detained by the police on Nov 17 for cyberbullying Hema Subramaniam before being released on police bail.

This was confirmed by Cheras police chief ACP Aidil Bolhassan.

The probe on Shalini is ongoing and he declined to comment further.

Hema had lodged her report against Shalini and Dulal Brothers on Sept 30 at the Bukit Jalil police station.

Both the alleged accused had threatened to injure, rape and murder Hema. Threats were also made against her husband.

Shalini is being under investigated for making criminal intimidation under Section 506 of the Penal Code and insulting the modesty of an individual under Section 509 of the Penal Code.

The Malaysian public was previously enraged when Shalini also known as Alphaquinnsha walked away with just RM100 fine that was imposed under Minor Offences Act.
